Byrd: 1040 squat

Finally broke the 2,500 total mark at the Arnold, but like any lifter I feel there is more left in the tank. Currently training for the RPS South Florida Conquest on September 3rd. I will be lifting in the 275 class against several other solid lifters. I will need to have a solid meet, but I have high expectations of a good PR total!

Battling a leg injury, but that is the nature of the beast! The plan was to work up to around a 2nd or 3rd attempt depending on how the meet is going. Warm ups went well, and felt pretty strong!

Raw up to 400s
briefs on 600s
suit on 700s
straps up at 800
Tight straps at 900
980×1
1040×1

Everything moved pretty well, and form wasnt to far off. This will likely be my last squat until meet day. Hopefully I can put together a solid total!
