Dan Dalenberg- Benching Big at 6 weeks out

Contest prep is well underway. I will competing at the Lexen Xtreme Fall Classic in October, lifting multi-ply 242. I will be looking to improve on my PR total of 2370.

Bench feels ahead of schedule! Really moving well, I have a lot of confidence in the bench right now.

Bench- Last warm up, opener 1 board, 2nd 2 board

585 off two boards, 650 from 1 and then 705 off 2 boards. Ahead of schedule! Last meet, I handled 700 off 2 boards, but did it at 3 weeks out and thought it was going to kill me. This time around the set was pretty low key and done at 6 weeks out. I am in a very good spot in the bench.

Shirt is a triple ply SDP with triple ply sleeves. I wear a stock 54. Very happy with the fit of this shirt. Eventually I would like to go a bit tighter, but this one is plenty of shirt for now.

4 Boards- 3 x 3 RPE 8

I only did one set at 625. My body was beat and I was ready to get the shirt off. I was getting sloppy which was going to end poorly.

Speed against chains

1 plate and 3 chains.

Pressdowns, Pull downs and rear delt fly to finish it out.
