LCS Week 7, Shirt work

The rest of the crew is on deload.  Thankfully schedules permitted enough guys to come in and help me get a decent bench day in.

Lowcountry Strength is currently in our off season training.  Lots of different things going on right now.  I’ve moved the group into a higher volume phase while I’m working with Zane Geeting for my training.  Pretty cool to see quite a few different things happening for all the folks here.

As always, a big thanks to Brian for supplying us with Inzer Advance Designs and Captain Jacked for their continued support of TeamPRS.

Still tinkering with the shirt.  I think I got the chest plate settled where I wanted it but still need to work on adjusting the sleeves a little bit on the triceps.  Still moved well but I think it could have been better.

Full training today looked like this:

McGill warm up and a ton of band pull aparts

barx10 x2 sets

105×10

145×5

195×3

255×1

305×1

345×1 to a 3bd

435×1 to a 3bd

485×1 to a 2bd

525×1 to a 1bd (was supposed to be a double, thanks Dub!  haha)

525×2 x2 to a 1bd

575×3 to a 3bd

555×3 to a 3bd

525×1 to a 3bd (was just gassed and could not keep my wrist from breaking, just called it)

Dips:

bwx10, +25×10, +45x1o x2

side laterals and face pulls to finish

About the best the shirt has felt to a one board in a long time.  Especially a shirt this “loose”.  I’m not sure I was going to open with 500 at my last meet.  This makes me feel like I could probably open with at least 535 or so if I had to go next weekend.  Thankfully I’m still  a long way out.  Plenty of time to get it better.
