Adam Driggers Training, Sat 7/19

Saturday morning was the first week in a 3 week wave of sets of 3 for the squat. I worked up to 505, which was not enough. I did not pay attention to my last wave of 3 and began this one with the same weight as the last one. I should have been closer to 525. I can fix it, but it aggravates me when I do things like that. The week following the three week wave will be a max test on my raw squat. I will use that same week to deload the other sessions. I’m hoping for a low to mid 600. I think that was in my range last test, but I hurt my left leg on the 605.

Here’s what the training looked like on Saturday:

Squats (Buffalo Bar)

505 x 3 for 3 sets

Leg Press:

800 x 12 for 3 sets

GHR:

3 sets of 12

I usually do a fourth movement, but I was out of time and gas. [share title=”Share this Article” facebook=”true” twitter=”true” google_plus=”true” linkedin=”true” pinterest=”true” reddit=”true” email=”true”][author title=”About the Author”]
