Brandon Crabill – Tugging along

Nothing crazy on the squats, so in the meantime, pushing the deads and bench.  Still targeting mid-January race!

Damn, had a good day pulling, but just heard the news about KK.  We lose people along the way in this sport that just shook the fucking earth.  He was one of them.  All I can think of is the beltless pulls and whistling at the top.  Dude was something else and lit a lot of us up.  RIP.

Deads

Top 2 @ 500 & 550

4×3 Deficit Pulls @455

Rep set hit 8, which was the plan for the day. Done.  Accessories will come in a few days.  Thus far, this setup has just been awesome for actually getting me in and out of the gym and still getting the work done.  The next 5-6 weeks will be the real test.  School gets pretty intense to downright nutty over this back 1/3.  I’ll sleep again for Christmas.

Brandon Crabill is a proud bearer of the mark of the beast, completing the 666 Challenge unleashed an unholy torrent. Initially, the focus was on power and speed, but as time went along things shifted to further extremes. Brandon would go on to total Pro and Elite in multiple weight classes both geared and raw, all while knocking out marathons and ultras. In one 6 month period he would total 2150 equipped, 1705 raw, and run a 100K trail race with a top placing, all in a race that saw over half the field DNF. The stats are legit, the stories are real, and the lessons have come with a price.
