Brian Carroll Offseason | Saturday 7.23 & Monday 7.25 |

Check out part 1 of the Documentary “this is 10/20/life”

I just finished 3 meets in 3 months and I’m now taking downtime to recover, rest and work on weak points. I did hit PR Total, 2651, PR squat 1102 and a PR bench 788 all at 242.

Still doing Keto, now almost a month in- and I feel pretty good. Some days I think about carbs but most days I do not. I don’t ever crave them anymore, thank God. I haven’t checked my BW since last Thursday at 256, so I’ll check tomorrow and see where it is sitting.

Good start to the training week. Tonight, I’ll continue working on my upper back, grip, hams and quads per usual. It’s hard holding back in some regards but in other ways, it is not hard haha. I pushed very long time.

Sat went well with Byrd and Lisa going in their gear, and taking openers (about). They should both have a good meet. Clint is also looking strong with his squats. He will be competing in the raw with wraps category.

Monday – Another super hot one. Byrd was cranking up his shirted bench training and we had Paul Key in the house helping him dial in form. It was a time. Again, wearing gear in this FL heat is brutal as hell.

As for me – I’m going to go back to some barbell training in August, starting on Monday. I’m looking forward to this as well as it starting to cool off in the next couple of months. My training is kind of lame right now, but it’s for my own good.

I’ll be seeing these guys in August, I have yet to see them live so this will be cool!
