23 Oct Byrd- Miami Training
Offseason is in full swing, with goals of bringing up some weak points and getting healthy! So far the body weight is up and body is healing nicely. Currently no meets in the near future, but still lots of big goals.
[wa-wps]Friday Brian, Ria, Lisa, Liz, and myself made our way down to Miami to train at Iron Addicts Gym. I really appreciate Burt and Mindy Underwood for being such great hosts. We made it down later in the evening and checked into our hotel. We met up with everyone for a nice dinner, including Josh Bryant and Fred Hatfield. Was fun to pick their brains some and pick up a few things. The dinner was amazing and the company even better. That alone made it worth the trip.
Saturday morning we got up and ate some breakfast and headed over to the gym. Brian and Lisa were putting on the finishing touches to good training cycles. I was just looking to work in some new briefs and work on my conventional deads.

Everything moved fast but I had to fight Jesus for the wheel a few times.

These didn’t move well but I’m still learning what works best for my body right now. Good news is there was no real pain and it’s helping my weak points.
