Byrd: Squats on Squats

It’s time to start moving back to what I enjoy. The raw stuff was fun, and a nice change of pace but bring on the gear. Body weight is just under 290, so feeling good for a short offseason and then hopefully a meet prep.

This week I started to break in a bench shirt. This will probably be my back up as I have one a size smaller but I need some help from training partners breaking it in.

Bench:
Raw up to 365
Add 3board
385×2
405×2
425×2

Shirt on
500×3 off 4board for 2 sets.

Squat
Raw up to 420
Briefs on
510×2
600×2
690×2
780×2

Single leg deads 4×8

Overall a great training session and good week of training. I will be deloading this weekend to help my training partners at the APF Nationals. Should be a great week and some important powerlifting news should be dropped this weekend!
