13 May Dan Dalenberg | Squat/Pull | Wk 16
Training for the XPC/RPS Atlantic City meet on August 29th. I will be lifting raw with wraps at 242.
My interesting and fairly productive off season is coming to an end. I wouldn’t really call the next four weeks of training truly contest prep, but it isn’t really off season either. I’m working off of percentages now and training will be considerably more structured. So in that sense it is pre-contest style. Either way, I’m 16 weeks out or so from my next meet.
Squat- 70%- 2×2
Worked up an easy 560 for two doubles. Very light and moved as it should. Glad I took a little time off last week and stayed out of the gym, everything feels fresh.
Deads- 50%- 2×2
315 for two doubles. Working with a slightly modified stance and it feels very good.
Finished up with a bunch of leg extensions and hip abduction.
Pretty quick session, everything feeling good.
