26 Nov Danny Bellmore – Some Much Needed Back Rehab
I just completed the 2017 APF Senior Nationals. With just a small set back the meet went fairly well. I finished with a win in the Masters and the Open. I will be going into a long off season with nothing planned as far as meets go.

As of the next month or so I will not have much to post for my log. I have been having issues with my QL being in spasm constantly. This has been going on for about 4 years with having very little relief. Upon Brian’s request Dr. McGill will be working with me for the next few months. Right now, we are mainly working on movement patterns that will desensitize the pain. This is a very humbling experience that needs to be done if I am to see any results. It has been and issue for so long and it is not an overnight fix. I am very thankful for Brian introducing me to Dr. McGill.
I am also focusing on cleaning up my diet with the help of Derek Wilcox. I am looking to clean things up a bit and get a little leaner. I will be the first to admit I eat like shit. This will be a work in progress. The first thing I will be doing is staying away from all the snacking I do. Baby steps until I am where I need to be.
The next issue is I am currently working on is my neck. I will be meeting with a surgeon at the first of the year. I need another cervical fusion and it will depend on what I want to do if we do one or two levels. Here is the deal, the disk above my current fusion is fine the problem is with the one above that’s crushed and in need of repair. The doctors do not like to leave a disk between to repaired vertebrae. The reason being that the uninjured disk with be overloaded and will eventually need to be repaired. I guess I need to make up my mind if I want it all done now or take my chances.
