10 Feb Danny Vega – 13.1 Training – 3 weeks out
I’m currently training for the Gasparilla Half Marathon on February 26th. I’m following Tony Cowden’s EndStrength 13.1 program. This is my first endurance event. I will be doing this while following a ketogenic diet, which I’ve stuck to since June of this year.

3 weeks out! Training is winding down and I like it. I don’t mind the extra recovery. For now I’m just making sure my diet is on point, and I’m progressing on my runs. The lifting is more of an afterthought, but that will switch back around after my race, when I start another 3 month powerbuilding block.
Really loving life right now. Work is good, family is good, training and my side ventures are good, I can’t complain. Can’t say the same for my Facebook feed.
