Danny Vega – RPS Redemption meet prep – 4/6 bench training

I am training for the RPS Redemption/XPC Qualifier on May 30, 2015. I will be competing in the classic raw 220lb weight class.

I honestly had no idea what was going to happen today, since I was down all weekend with a headache and fever. But I came in telling myself I was going to have a good session. and that’s exactly what happened. First good bench training session of this meat prep, and now its time to build on it.

1. Bench 5×2@285,315,350,350,350, then hit a triple at 385 in the slingshot

2.Closegrip Bench 5×5@295

3. Weighted Dips 4×10@45

4. Band tri extensions x100
