20 Apr Driggers, Squats from 4-18-2015
I’ve spent the last few weeks trying to push my squat back up in spite of a nagging hip injury. I’m close to the 620 that hurt me months ago. This week I pushed 580, next 600, then a couple of weeks down before heading towards 650. The good news is that I’m not limping! That bad news is that raw sucks, even in the “power pants” and wraps.
Worked up to 470 for a single before adding wraps for 510 and 580.
After the singles I went off abok with 325 plus 16o lbs of chains. I’m doing box squats for the purpose of limiting my range of motion. I think this is a major factor in my hip recovery.
