14 Dec Jonathan Byrd: Heavy Raw Squats
The offseason has come to an end. I feel like I have got most of my goals accomplished. My bodyweight is holding steady in the 285 range, my pec is feeling solid, and I have added some size/strength to my legs.
I came in today with the goal of doing 700 for a few reps, and then do a few form pulls.
Squats
3×5@bar
3×5@150
2×3@240
1×3@330
1×1@420
1×1@510
added wraps
1×1@600
1×3@700
Form pulls: Conventional
2×3@315
2×2@405
2×1@495
Squats did not feel great, but I am still happy with the weight. Depth was not what I would like to see, but at the same time its my offseason training. Great spot to build on when I start my meet prep next week.
