LCS 1 and 2 Weeks Out

Lowcountry Strength has a group of lifters that will be competing in the USPA meet Dec 8th in Mt. Pleasant, SC and the Dec 15th APF meet in Columbia, SC.  We’re moving forward into meet prep and will have training start to get a bit more exciting around here.

As always, a big thanks to Inzer Advance Designs and Jax Nutrition for their continued support of TeamPRS.

Check out the PowerRackStrength shop for shirts, hats, books, and other goodies.

We’re coming up on a couple of the busiest weeks we’ve seen in the gym in a long time.  We’ve got 2 new knuckleheads that will be competing Dec 8th here in Mt. Pleasant, SC.  Pretty excited to see these dudes get after it.  It’s been a while since I’ve been to a USPA meet but Gary and Tricia here run excellent meets.

The next weekend Eric Hubbs is putting on an APF meet at Spud’s new place in Columbia, SC.  I think we’ll have 9 lifters representing LCS and I’ve committed to helping out a few more.  Going to be a damn good time.  Powerlifting meets are like family reunions, drinking and weird uncles included.

My own training has been steady and consistent.  I’m fortunate to be very busy at the moment.  New clients, both online and in person, as well as new members to the gym have really had my hands full.  Not to mention lots going on with 2 growing daughters and all that’s entailed with trying to be a good father.

As the LCS team will wind down from their meet prep and start into off season, I’ll look to try and find a meet for myself.  Might be a while, but I’m finally feeling as if I’m ready to get ready for another meet.  Soon, my friends.  Soon.
