LCS 8 Weeks Out, Videos of last warm ups

Starting to get heavier.  This week calls for doubles at 85% or around last warm up territory.

There’s a small group of us that’ll be competing Oct 28th at the RPS Revenant Rising in Wilmington, NC.

As always, a big thanks to Inzer Advance Designs and Captain Jacked for their continued support of TeamPRS.

Again, normally I separate squat and deads into their own days.  I’ve had a sick 3 year old at the house so my wife and have to split time spent with her so I figured my schedule would be a bit hectic.  Just to be preemptive, I went ahead and got this done with a skeleton crew.  Hoping for a bigger crew later this week to get the benching in.  Adapt and overcome.

Squats:

up to 85% 2×2 (ended up going 595 and 615)

reverse banded 90% for 2 singles

650 and 670.

I was wrapping my own knees so you’ll notice I use both the grippers and the black beauties.  The grippers are just easier to self wrap so I use those on the easier sets.  The harder sets I’ll suck it up and smash the blacks on.  Self-wrapping in full gear is a little challenging but if it’ll make me a better lifter (I hope), then I’m all about it.

Deads:

up to 85%

Ok, I actually fucked this up.  I put the hundreds on and it completely threw my counting off.  Ended up doing my doubles at 565.  Which was my opener at my last meet.  I’m pretty happy that it went so well though.  I do love pulling in these inzer Predators.  Not sure I’m going to toss the suit on top it since this is going so well.
