
31 Jan Lisa Guggisberg: Offseason Squats & Pulls
I am currently finishing up some offseason training and will transition soon into pre-contest mode as I get ready for the Women’s Pro Am in April.
Warm Up:
- McGill Big 3
- Goblet Squats
- Bar 2 x 10
Work:
Had the pleasure of training with Team Samson and I was introduced to the buffalo bar. It was a challenge for me to stay in my heels and stay tight. I decided to keep it at 285 for some singles and just worked on form.
Pulls felt good. Block pulls are always a weak point for me. I was really concentrating on wedging in and pulling my lats down. Worked up to 2 x 3 at 315 off blocks for an RPE of 7.
Accessory Work:
- KB swings 3 x 20
- Split Squats 3 x 12 each leg
- One leg RDL 3 x 12 each leg
- Uneven Farmer’s/Suitcase carry 3 x 200meters
Watched the guys try and get Brian into a new pair of Inzer grid stitch Predator briefs. It was a team effort.
