08 Nov Lisa Guggisberg-Offseason Week 2
I recently competed at the RPS Florida State Champhionship where I totaled 936 raw at 114. I am currently in offseason mode.
Still just enjoying my offseason and not being strapped to a regimented training schedule.
Here’s what Sunday Funday looked like for me this week:
Warm up:
- McGill Big 3
- Goblet Squats
- Bar 2 x 20
Squat Work:
- 95 x 10
- 135 x 5
- 185 x 5
- 205 x 5
- 225 x 5
- 245 x 5
RPE of 7
Deadlift Work:
All sumo deficit pulls off 1” deficit.
- 135 x 5
- 185 x 5
- 205 x 5
- 225 x 5
- 245 x 5
Accessory Work:
- Front Squats 4 x 5 at RPE 7
- Leg extension/leg curl 4 x 15
- Walking lunges
- Belt Squat marching 4 x 30 each leg (this destroyed my glutes)
Spent the rest of the day with the family and saw the new Thor movie. Not a huge comic book nerd so I had about a billion questions for the hubby afterwards. Ate waaaay to much popcorn and paid for it dearly the next day with some awful sodium bloat.
Deload this week which is perfect as Todd has a softball tournament for the fire department. Can’t say that I’m not looking forward to watching him play, what girl doesn’t like a man in baseball pants?
