Strong(ish) Garagebell Chronicles 2-19-17 Squat PR And Rolling Into The Arnold XPC Meet!

[wa-wps]
I’m currently training to compete at the XPC Finals at the Arnold. Hoping to change the all time record books once again.

This is where everything culminates into hopefully some PRs in training and then pushing that momentum into the meet after recovery.  Everything went pretty well!

Heavy Lower Day (Warm ups – Empty bar squats with wraps on quads/hams, rotational hip stretches, TFL stretch, bird dogs and shoulder mobility)
–Fully Equipped Squat –  up to a reverse band 1070

– Equipped Deadlift – up to 675 (opener)
Very happy with how smoothly everything went on this day.  Just hoping to put it all on the platform!

Heavy Upper Day (Warm ups – Empty bar squats, rotational hip stretches, TFL stretch, bird dogs and shoulder mobility)
– Bench Press – up to 535×1 attempted touch.
All moved quite well here so I was pretty happy.
