I’m interested in the “assistance A” called form squats and form pulls. What exactly are they? How do you use them in the context of off-season and contest prep programming?
Form work is a great tool. A lot of problems in the lift are technical and not strength related. We use form work to hammer out set-ups, loading and timing. It’s tough to get stronger when you’re not executing every rep the same way. Consistency of effort will get rid of a lot of bad habits and weak points during the lift.
