LumbAir
LumbAIR is a lumbar back support that encourages ideal posture and posture changes. Its small size makes it easy to carry in cars, airplanes, homes, or other places where sitting is required. Brian Carroll was first introduced to this product by Prof Stuart McGill in 2013, and over 11 years later continues to endorse and use all of the back supports listed below. Not all back supports are created equal – proper back support requires changing the degree of support depending on the unique curvature of an individual’s spine, injury history, and restrictions.
The LumbAIR is guaranteed for one year against defects in materials and workmanship. The valves are guaranteed for life and the foam is engineered to last 15 years. Perform this test to see if the LumbAIR sitting support is for you: Sit in a chair with a firm seat bottom and back rest. Place your hands between your low back and the back of the chair. Adjust your hands to assess if pain is reduced and comfort has increased. If comfort is increased then the adjustable supports will help you.

PropAIR
When sleeping, lying on the back causes the low back to flatten to the mattress causing spine flexion. Many people with back pain have flexion-triggered pain – making back sleeping painful. Pain while sleeping during the night will increase your sensitivity to more pain during the day. Eliminating pain while lying at night will help wind down your pain sensitivity the next day.
Recently, this same air bladder technology has been shown to reduce disc stress while sleeping. This resulted in the “PropAIR sleeper” which can increase back comfort in bed.
Take the test
Place your hands palms down under your low back while lying. If comfort is increased, then the support provided by the PropAIR will enhance your sleeping comfort. Certain back conditions like stenosis and spondylolisthesis will not be helped with the PropAIR.

The EmbraceAIR Inline Seat Cushion has a molded natural wood frame and high quality ‘30-year’ foam. The In-Line Seating cradles the buttocks and evenly distributes body weight with contoured leg troughs and overflow edges to reduce weight on bony prominences. Ideal when your current seat is either too hard, too soft, or when you want to stabilize your back support height. Inline Seating can be attached to any of our ‘Embrace‘ type back supports with the included Velcro straps. Remember, fabric treated to make it immune to fungus bacteria and odor.
