05 Jan Dan Dalenberg- 6 weeks out squatting
Training for RUM 8 on February 8th. I will be lifting on the wrapped/monolift day, hoping to post another 2000+ raw total.
This past weekend Brian was up in Michigan to do an in house clinic for Flint Barbell Club. He asked me to come along and help out, so I made the trip over to the east side to squat at Michigan Barbell on Friday night.

Squat- Plan was to work up a projected opener and then something big with a reverse band. Decided on 725 for the planned opener, which moved very well. Took 820 with a reverse band after that. Moved very easy, getting very comfortable with 800+. Video includes a little bit of everybody who made it out Friday. My squat was the 820 set.

Deads- 3 singles at 315
Finished up with more McGill work. I was pretty smoked and ready to be done.
I’m really large right now.
Brian said I looked fat. Kenny said I looked as big as Brian. A guy I know at Flint Barbell asked me if I will be going 275 this year. Weighed in at 259 on Sunday morning. Easily the biggest I have ever been. Very strong right now, but a little far from 242 for my liking. Need to back off the pizza macros and back closer to 250.
