Dan Dalenberg- Bench Training- 27-August

11 weeks out from Relentless Detroit. Training is in full swing and weights are starting to get heavier. Body weight is at 245 in the AM.

Bench- 80% x 3 x 3

405 x 3. Everything moved really well here. The first rep of the first set I brought down to slow which seems to be a continuous problem for me. My training partner quickly picked up on it and cued me to bring it down faster. That seems to be all it takes, someone reminding me to bench correctly.

2 Board Close Grip

315 x 4 x 4. Easy reps here, working to bring up a weakpoint at about this board height.

Machine Chest Press 4 x 12

120 x 4

Finished with a ton of pressdowns, hammer curls and band flyes.

Really good session. Bench feels pretty good and nice to get some heavier volume in.

I owe a huge thanks to all the people that have been supporting my Relentless fundraiser. We just hit our minimum goal and look to be setup to go well over that. The generosity has been awesome! I encourage you to come check out the meet November 7-8th at Kirby Church in Flat Rock, MI.
