
29 Dec Dan Dalenberg- Last week’s pulling
Training for RUM 8 on February 8th. I will be lifting on the wrapped/monolift day, hoping to post another 2000+ raw total.

Unless I miss counted, there are 36 lifters on the roster currently. Nice growth from last year’s meet, excited to see so many names on the roster that I don’t recognize!
This session was from last Monday. I put in a couple deload sessions as well. I planned my training cycle to be deloading over Christmas since I would be traveling and spending time with family.
Warm Up
McGill 3
Goblet Squats- I really like these for a warm up and as an assistance movement. I take a wide stance and use it to open my hips up.
Hammer curls
Training
Squats- 5 singles at 415. Felt like it should, effortless.
Deads- Worked up to 2 singles at my last warm up of 585.
Went pretty well. My gym pulling is pathetic, 625 gym PR.. 710 meet. The 625 gym PR is from my meet training cycle getting ready for Relentless 2014 and so is the 710. Negatively effects my youtube fame, but I still have a 2000 pound total so I’ll accept the lack of social media stardom.
Sumo Pulls- 3 x 3 at 500. Making some progress here.
Pause Squats- 3 x 5 at 325
