12 May Dan Dalenberg | Off season | Bench
I recently competed at the 2017 Arnold XPC Finals where I went 8/9, squatting 940, benching 700, pulling 730 for a 2370 total at 242 multi-ply. I will be transitioning into a long offseason that will include a deadlift only meet in the middle of it.Â
[wa-wps]Bench- 1 board triples to 7 RPE
365 top set. Raw benching feels really weird. It’s strange to think a year ago I benched 500 raw. This felt easy, just really weird.
Close Grip Triples to 2 boards
Several sets at 225 and 275
Fat grip pull downsÂ
Band pressdowns
And that’s it! I feel strong. Left elbow is a little jacked up, I think all the grip work is beating up my forearms a bit.
