07 Apr Dan Dalenberg | Off season Wk 2 | Bench
I recently lifted at the Arnold Classic XPC meet where I totaled 1955, benched 500 raw and pulled a PR deadlift. Off season training has started after a nice long deload. I’m going back to what has worked the absolute best for me, having Brian Carroll handle writing my programming.
Floor Press- RPE 7, top set of 4
Up to 335. I might switch this from a straight bar to a swiss bar. The straight bar seems to put a lot of stress on my pecs on the floor press.
Speed Bench- A bunch of doubles with 225 + mini band
I did sets until I was consistently this fast.
Incline Dumbbell – 3 x 15
