Dan Dalenberg | Offseason Wk 3 | SQ/DL

I recently competed at the 2017 Arnold XPC Finals where I went 8/9, squatting 940, benching 700, pulling 730 for a 2370 total at 242 multi-ply. I will be transitioning into a long offseason that will include a deadlift only meet in the middle of it.

1. Squat- Doubles to RPE 7

Top set was 600.

I rearranged my offseason a little bit. With Easter and then my brother’s wedding shortly after, I was going to have a couple weeks where I wouldn’t be with my group. So I moved the deloads around and will be going a little longer in between.

I have a pair of 36 triple ply Predators that need broken in. These were almost completely unusable for me at 245 bodyweight. I am about 10 pounds light right now, so my hope is that I can break them in while I am little slimmer and be able to use them in the fall for a full meet. Still took some work to get them on! I am going to be in these a few times over the next couple months to get some work in them.

2. Deads- Triples off blocks to RPE 7

Top set- 405

With the rearranged schedule, my deads were a little on the light side tonight.

3. Speed Pull against chain

5 singles

4. Box Squat

5 doubles

Finished up with some grip work.
