Dan Dalenberg- RUM8- Week 6 Benching

Training for RUM 8 on February 8th. I will be lifting on the wrapped/monolift day, hoping to post another 2000+ raw total. 

Warmup

McGill 3

Band Pressdown, face pull, flye and bicep curl circuit

Training

Bench- Last warm-up 2×2, Opener for 2 singles

Worked up through 405 for the two doubles. Put a big slingshot on for the first single with my projected opener and then took it straight weight, 465. It moved fairly well. Not quite as fast as I would like, but given where I am at in the training cycle, I am pleased. Bench training has gone very well.

1.5 Board Press- Triples to 9RPE. Worked up to 425 for 2 triples. I really suck at this board height. But it is getting better.

Close Grip Floor Press- 4 x 10 @ 225

100 total reps of band flyes.
