Dan Dalenberg- Training 7-30-14

Back from a short vacation and back in the gym.

Vacation came at a perfect time right after the meet. We went up to Traverse City, MI for a long weekend. Beautiful place, very peaceful and quiet. Relaxing to say the least, highly recommend a trip there if you are from Michigan. Took a complete deload and had about 10 days completely off. I feel great as a result.

Training

Bench- Triples

Only worked up to a couple sets at 275. No reason to rush it. I’m about 15 weeks out now, better to take it a little easier and make sure everything is 100% before hitting it hard again.

Machine Press- 4 x 8- Some goofy hammer strength machine. The weight doesn’t matter

Incline Press w/swiss bar- 4 x 12 @ 185

Pressdowns- 4 x 12

Band flyes and hammer curls- 4 x 25

My back feels great and I’m down a few pounds of bloat. I was as heavy as 254 in the mornings, now at 245. Even a pretty small change has been good to me.
