IPF Master Worlds Bench Press
Right after I finished college I lived and worked in Bloomington, IN and trained at Iron PIt Gym there. Quickly met a very strong bench presser, Joe Dibert. I came across his meet video from IPF Master Worlds last night, check it out:
Now, what makes this even cooler is his background story. In 2010 Joe was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome which causes the immune system to damage the person’s nerve cells, causing muscle weakness and sometime paralysis. Joe has had an impressive recovery but still has numbness in his feet and stumbles a bit when walking. Not holding him back! One of the most outgoing lifters I ever trained with.
