Danny Vega – Off Season Week 1 – Deadlifts

I am currently in off season mode. Over the next 4 months I will be focusing on building my bench and working on some weak points until I start meet prep for next May’s RPS Redemption meet. I will be competing raw with wraps in the 242 weight class.

Another great training day in the books. Did all my pulls beltless. Also added in pull ups today and will be doing McGill pull-ups on Fridays before squats. That can only help.

Deadlift 135×5, 225×3, 315×2, 405×1, 495×4, 525×4, 555×4, 555×4

Strapped Block pulls 545×3, 545×3

Rows off blocks 3×8@275, 295, 295

Chest supported rows 3×8@430, 470, 450

Neutral grip pull-ups 3×8,7,6

Wtd GHR 3×8@25,45,45
