Danny Vega – Off season week 1 – more bench

I am currently in off season mode. Over the next 4 months I will be focusing on building my bench and working on some weak points until I start meet prep for next May’s RPS Redemption meet. I will be competing raw with wraps in the 242 weight class.

Came in this morning for a second bench day. I was still a bit sore from Monday, which I haven’t felt in a long time. I love it. Today was easy. Hit most of my reps in spite of the volume, which is almost 3x what I usually do. Only thing that I struggled with overhead pressing, which I haven’t done in a while.

2 board press 45×15,15, 135×8, 185×5, 225×3, 5×10@245

3 board close grip 5×10@235

BB ohp 165×7, 155×8, 155×8

Single arm cable extensions 50×20, 60×15, 60×20

YTU 3×10 each
