15 Jan Danny Vega – Off Season Week 1 – Squats
I am currently in off season mode. Over the next 4 months I will be focusing on building my bench and working on some weak points until I start meet prep for next May’s RPS Redemption meet. I will be competing raw with wraps in the 242 weight class.[wa-wps]
Let me be honest. I had no idea what to expect after essentially taking two months off from squatting any real weight. But this morning no matter what the weight was, it felt light and the speed was great.
So to continue to beat a dead horse, if you have nagging issues (like tendinitis in my case) and you’re not getting ready for a meet, take care of it! And rest as much as you need to. Nothing is gonna happen to your gainz bro.
