Danny Vega – Off season week 2 – Bench

I am currently in off season mode. Over the next 4 months I will be focusing on building my bench and working on some weak points until I start meet prep for next May’s RPS Redemption meet. I will be competing raw with wraps in the 242 weight class.

Just as I thought, week 2 started off much better than week 1. I’m up a whopping 1.2lb from last Monday, but my strength is way up and I kept the volume relatively the same. I went up on all my lifts from last week. I plan on slowly progressing and keeping this pace until I deload.

Bench 45×15, 135×8, 175×5, 205×3, 255×8,8,8,8,8,10, 225×15

Close grip bench 225×10,9,8

DB incline bench 3×10@70

Weighted dip – bw+20 x 12,12,10

JM press 115×10, 135×10, 135×10
