06 Jul Danny Vega – Off-season Week 5 – squats and pulls RELOAD
Currently in Off-season mode. Will be preparing for a meet in the late fall after this 10 week block.
I love these reload weeks because I get to see my progress over the last month or so. This week I added in more volume than I had in week 2 AND a heavier top set on both lifts. On week 2 I had 4 working sets of 6. Today I had 5 working sets of 6 and hit a top set of squat 10 lbs heavier and 35 lbs heavier on deadlift (I went too light on week 2). Feeling good about this off season so far.
Squat 55*10, 145*6, 195*6, 285*6, 325*6, 375*6, 415*6, added wraps 475*6@7-8 RPE
Deadlifts 225*3, 315*3, 405*3, 455*3, 495*3, 535*6@7 RPE
Goblet squat 2*10@70
GHR 3*8@bw + 25
