22 Feb Danny Vega – Off Season Week 7 – Bench
I am currently in off season mode. Over the next 4 months I will be focusing on building my bench and working on some weak points until I start meet prep for next May’s RPS Redemption meet. I will be competing raw with wraps in the 242 weight class.[wa-wps]
Last week I deloaded. Nothing exciting. These next two weeks are the heaviest of this off season. Hitting heavy doubles this week and beating them next week. Simple as that.
This morning I benched and I have to mention this again: SWOT weekend was awesome! 6 hours of training and talking shop with high level lifters and coaches was extremely helpful. My new bench set up feels money.

Close grip bench 315×6,7
DB incline bench 2×6@110
DB incline 2×6@110. As the off season draws to an end, I am tapering off on the volume and reps.
