28 Oct Danny Vega – Raw United Meet Prep – squat & bench openers
I am training for the Raw United meet on November 7th in Tampa, FL. I will be competing raw with wraps in the 220 weight class.
Been slacking on my logs last couple of weeks. End of meet prep = less log posts and more anger. Finished my deload last week and came back FINALLY feeling fresh this week. Lots of travel, a wedding, building a home and other stress has me a little lighter than usual but my openers still moved fast.
mcgill big three and long warm up
Squat 55×10, 145×6, 195×5, 235×4, 325×3, added belt 415×2, 505×1, added wraps for last warm up 555×1, smoked my opener 605×1
shut it down after that.

Comp bench 45×15, 135×10, 185×5, 225×3, 275×2, last warm up 315×1, opener 355×1 also moved fast
DB incline bench 65×10, 80×10, 90×10, 100×15
DB rear raise 4×15@30
Coming in Friday for deadlift opener and some fluff and buff.
