Danny Vega – RPS Redemption meet prep – 3/19 fluff and buff

 

I am training for the RPS Redemption/XPC Qualifier on May 30, 2015. I will be competing in the classic raw 220lb weight class.

My meet prep programming is in my hands and it looks great. I’m really excited to do it. There are no special bells or whistles, just time proven stuff that works. I came to an agreement with Jonathan that I would try some of my own stuff on fluff and buff day for the first 5 weeks to address this lagging bench.

1. Closegrip Bench 45×15,15, 135×8, 185×8, 225×8, 245×8,16

2. Smith machine ohp (only lowering to eye level to work shoulders and lockout) 135×8, 165×8, 185×8,10

3a. Double arm hammer curl 4×10@45,50,50,50

3b. DB rear raise 4×10@30

4. Preacher curl 3×10@70,80,80
