28 Mar Danny Vega – RPS Redemption meet prep – 3/28 deadlifts
I am training for the RPS Redemption/XPC Qualifier on May 30, 2015. I will be competing in the classic raw 220lb weight class.
Today I came in and went heavy on pulls for the first time in a while… It felt good, considering I’ve already gone heavier, for more reps this time around than I did last time and it’s still early in my meet prep.
Here’s a comparison of what I’m talking about.
3/28 pulls
1. Deadlift 505×3, 555×3, 605×3, 605×3
2. Deficit deads (1 min rest) 5×1@495
3. Lat pulldown 5×12@200
4. Band face pulls 3×25
