13 Apr Danny Vega – RPS Redemption meet prep – 4/10 Deads and 4/13 bench
I am training for the RPS Redemption/XPC Qualifier on May 30, 2015. I will be competing in the classic raw 220lb weight class.
Been a little behind posting my logs but this week I’m back on track. Had a great deadlift session on Friday after a long and stressful week, and I was happy with today’s bench training as well.
4/10 Deadlifts
1. Deadlift off blocks 525*2, 575*2, 625*2, 625*2, 625*2
2. Dead stop rows 275*5, 4*5@295
3. DB Shrugs 4*8@140,160,170,180
4. Band face Pulls 3*25
4/13 bench
1. Paused bench 3*1@375
2. Touch and go Bench 3*2@355
3. Slingshot bench 405*2
4. Wtd Dips 3*10@70
5. Band tri extensions x100 *I finished this in 3 sets which is quicker than usual. I will increase the reps a bit
