Danny Vega – RPS Redemption meet prep – 4/16 Fluff and buff

I am training for the RPS Redemption/XPC Qualifier on May 30, 2015. I will be competing in the classic raw 220lb weight class.

Today was the last fluff and buff day where I would use a bar for pressing work. As the meet draws near, I’ll be switching to using mostly dumbbells to keep my shoulders fresh. I feel healthy and strong.

Alright here is what we did today:

1. Closegrip Bench with chains (90 lbs of resistance at the top): Bar*15, bar+45lbs chains*10, bar+90lbs chains*5, 135+90*5, 185+90*3, 205+90*3, 235+90*3, 265+90*5

2. DB ohp 65*6, 85*6, 100*11

3a. DB rear raise 4*10@35

3b. DB hammer curl 3*10@50

4. Preacher curl 60*20,20,10
