Danny Vega – RPS Redemption meet prep – 5/6 Squats

I am training for the RPS Redemption/XPC Qualifier on May 30, 2015. I will be competing in the classic raw 220lb weight class.

I’m gonna be real for a second… I didn’t think that bad bench workout would affect me but it did. I felt doubt creeping in and I decided not to squat on Tuesday. It was actually a good idea because I came in this morning and smoked everything.

Warmed Up thoroughly, then squatted. Stopped right after squats because I’m starting to go into survival mode. 

Squat: 55*10,10, 145*8, 235*5, 285*3, 325*2, 415*1, 505*1, 550*1 opener – smoked it, 610 second attempt – easy.
