Danny Vega – RPS Redemption meet prep – DELOAD week

I am training for the RPS Redemption/XPC Qualifier on May 30, 2015. I will be competing in the classic raw 220lb weight class.

Deload weeks are always welcome. This week came right on time, as my work and social calendar have added to my stress levels. The boys were sick and now my wife and I have splitting headaches. Having 3 days off and spending time at the beach will definitely help. I’ll be ready to hit it hard again on Monday. 

Deload bench

1. Bench 5x@275

2. Band flyes 3×10

3. Band tri extensions 3×10

Squat 

1. SSB squat 5×1@355

2. KB single leg GM 3×8@70

Fluff

1. DB Incline Bench Superset 55,45,35,25,15×20

2. Cable curls 100 reps

3. Push-ups 50

4. Rope tri extensions x100

Deadlift 

1. Deadlift 5×1@455

2. McGill pull-ups 15×1
