Danny Vega – Triple 6 Week 2 – Squats

I just spent the last 3 months perfecting the 10/20/Powerbuilding template with Tucker Loken, and we nailed it. The ebook should be out by the fall under the guidance of our fearless leader, Brian Carroll. My newest goal is to complete the 666 challenge under the coaching of teammate Tony Cowden. This is by far the coolest goal I’ve set for myself and I hope to join the ranks of the few who have completed this challenge.

I’m feeling mad defiant right now. It’s crazy how everything I’ve learned and thought over the past 10-15 years is coming into question. Carbs are necessary for elite performance. Running makes you weak. Leaning down makes you weak. I guess my body didn’t get the memo.

Of course, doing these things by the seed of your pants will get you weak and over trained. But I’m lucky to have my teammate Tony Cowden guide me through the training, and I’ve got the diet stuff on lock. Week 2 started really well. Weight is at 220 on the dot. I feel strong and fast and I’m not even pushing my runs past a certain percentage yet.
