02 Aug Danny Vega – Triple Six Week 4 – Squat/Run
I just spent the last 3 months perfecting the 10/20/Powerbuilding template with Tucker Loken, and we nailed it. The ebook should be out by the fall under the guidance of our fearless leader, Brian Carroll. My newest goal is to complete the 666 challenge under the coaching of teammate Tony Cowden. This is by far the coolest goal I’ve set for myself and I hope to join the ranks of the few who have completed this challenge.
[wa-wps]Last week was a much needed Deload. I rested, and I’m happy to say my left erector and left calf are doing much better. Just in time bc Tony turned up the running volume and added some other stuff this week. I’m focusing more on hydration and supplementing electrolytes more because I think that may have played a role the last couple of weeks.
8/1 Squat/Run
Squat – long warm-up, 55×10, 145×5, 235×3, 325×3, 415×1, 495×3, 4×4@375
1 leg GM 70×5, 88×5, 3×5@100
Runs/sprints. Felt a little slow on these today. Gonna push a little harder the rest of the week. I need to be making progress if I wanna get back down to a 6 min mile.
