10 Sep Danny Vega – USPA MEAT prep – deload zzzzz
I am preparing to compete at the USPA Veterans Classic on November 15th. I will be competing fake raw with wraps in the 220 weight class.
Last week I thought I was tired. By Monday I was ready to squat heavy again. Needless to say I’m ready for this deload to be over because I feel fresh.
Monday
Squat 45*10, 135*5, 185*5, 225*5, 275*5, 6*1@335
Paused above parallel 3*6@275
Leg curls 3*15
Bird dogs 10*10 sec each
Wednesday
Bench 45*10, 95*5, 135*5, 185*3, 6*1@245, 225*20
DB Flye 3*20@30
Dips 2*15
Stir the pot *100
Thursday
Deadlift 135*3, 225*3, 275*2, 315*1, 4*1@365
Samson games deadlift run through – just played around with this event that I’ll be doing at a competition on October 3rd. The weight was extremely light but I used too many bumpers and the weight kept coming off.
2 min time cap: 375*5, 405*3, 455 AMRAP I got 5 reps bc I spent so much time loading the bar. I’ll try this again in a few weeks but I should get 12+

GHR 3*15
I’ll come in for some fluff and buff on Saturday and be ready to put my wraps back on for Mondays squats.
