Lab Rat – Pre Contest Week 2 Squat/Deadlift

I’m currently training for the RPS Redemption Meet in Ft. Myers May 30th.  Goals for this meet are to improve my 242 w/wraps total of 1550 via 550, 425, 575.

Team Samson had a nice change of pace this weekend, the gym was packed for something other than benching!  Unbelievable.  Two rounds of the McGill Big 3, a few KB swings and a couple sets of squats with the bar served as my warm up.

Squats

  • 240 x 5
  • 330 x 3
  • 420 x 1
  • 470 x 3
  • 510 2 x 2 (medium knee wrap)

Deadlifts

  • 225 x 3
  • 315 x 2
  • 405 x 2
  • 455 2 x 3
  • 495 x 2
