24 Dec Danny Bellmore – More Rehab and a Cool Story
I just completed the 2017 APF Senior Nationals. With just a small set back the meet went fairly well. I finished with a win in the Masters and the Open. I will be going into a long off season with nothing planned as far as meets go.
Captain Jacked provides the best in supplementation.
First and foremost I want to wish all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
I have been active in rehabbing my lower back. Along with following Dr. McGill’s protocol I also have been experimenting with different sleeping positions. The majority of my back pain comes lying in bed. The time I spend in bed I have very little to no back pain, it’s the waking up and loading my spine where things get pretty intense. At this point I am ready to try pretty damn near anything for relief. I recently made a visit to Empower Chiropractic and Acupuncture to do some acupuncture with e-stim. I will say the next few days the pain level has dropped considerably with the treatment from Lauren Dyer. I will be making plans to get over there once a week for a long as I keep benefiting.
As far as training goes all I am doing at this point is mobility work along with walking on the treadmill just trying to loosen everything up.
I have a quick little story about a car I have wanted for about 15 years. I used to do business at a local speed shop and the owner (Brian Bachelder) used to be a pretty damn good drag racer. Brian always had this picture of a pretty cool Ed Hamburger prepared Dodge Demon that he once drove. Brian had sold the car and I pestered the hell out of him because I wanted the car. The answer was always the same, the guy will never sell the car. Brian stated that the guy wouldn’t sell the car back to him, so he doubted he would to me. Over the years I had always asked about the car with the same answer Dave wont part with it. Well I was at the local hot rod shop last week while talking to some good friends the car was brought up again and I stated I gave up asking about it. A few hours after I had returned home I received a phone call the car was for sale. After a few discussions with the current owner who has had the car about 30 years we struck a deal and I can proudly say I now own the car. This car has tons of history and is pretty much a time capsule. I can say I can’t wait to take it to the track and race it.
