Danny Vega – Off-season Week 9 – DELOAD

I am training for the RPS Redemption/XPC Qualifier on May 30, 2015. I will be competing in the classic raw 220lb weight class.

This has been a productive Off-season. I was able to put on 10lbs and remain lean, I was able to handle heavier weights than last Off-season, everything felt extremely light and I stayed healthy.

I’m ready to handle heavier weights and I have some fun stuff planned for next week, so stay tuned if you’re interested. 

Monday Bench 

1. Paused bench 5×1@255

2. Triceps rope extensions 3×10

3. DB flyes 3×10

Tuesday Squat

1. SSB squats 5×1@365

2. Goblet squats 3×10

3. Single leg GM 3×10

Thursday Pulls 

1. Deadlift 5×1@435

2. DB Row 3×15

3. McGill pull-ups 15×1

Friday or Saturday I’ll come in and drag the sled and push the Prowler. Really excited for next week and the coming meet prep.
