16 Sep Jonathan Byrd 1050 RB Squat
Squats on Saturday went well. Goal was to put something heavy on my back and get accustom to the heavy loads in gear again. Most lifters need to ease in and get adjusted to it, but honestly it doesn’t take me long. I did a week in briefs, and this is week number two in the suit.
Squats
raw up to 440
briefs on
530×2
suit on
620×1
710×1
straps up
800×1
940×1
Was very ugly, I set up with the bar a few inches off to my left. Rather than reracking the weight I took it down anyway. This was a big mistake, but it all worked out in the end.
1050×1 With average reverse band.
This is the most I have had on my back in a long time, and the second most ever. The weight moved well, but depth needed at least another inch if not two. Either way its a great start for where I am at and what I hope to accomplish.
